After a day on the Provo River, Bryan came back with more than just a good story—he had an idea. He had tested his first Ducky Bobber prototype, hooking fish one after another, and knew it worked. When he shared it with Stewart, walking through how it functioned as both a bobber and strike indicator, it was clear right away—we had something special. It put an immediate smile on our faces. We’ve been friends since third grade—over 65 years—and have spent a lifetime enjoying the outdoors together. From snow and water skiing to river running, dirt biking, dune buggy and jeep adventures (and surviving them all), hunting, and of course fishing, we’ve shared countless experiences. In recent years, Bryan has become a master at fly fishing and has loved sharing that passion and knowledge with others. Bringing the Ducky Bobber to life has been a true partnership. Bryan is the creator and driving force behind the idea, while Stewart brings decades of experience in product development, manufacturing, and global distribution. Having developed and delivered millions of consumer products worldwide, Stewart has worked through the full range of challenges that come with turning a great idea into a high-quality product. Together, we’ve combined creativity and experience to make the Ducky Bobber something we’re proud to share. Our goal is to bring a little more enjoyment to every cast.
